Testimonials

We always love to have feedback from our guests. Below you will find some of our previous guests comments, which include helpful suggestions for enjoying a holiday at Ford Hill Cottage in North Devon.

A super return visit.  We especially appreciated all the facilities here as the weather was rather wet!  Thanks for a lovely stay - games room, log burner and comfy beds all especially appreciated along with the thoughtful welcome basket.  Thank you!

Carling/Yeomans party - March 2023

We have had a wonderful time here in Ford Hill Cottage. The cottage is truly exceptional and very well appointed, perfect in fact. The games room is great - nothing like a quick game of pool to start the day off! The welcome pack was very nice and much appreciated after our long journey. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you!

Wheeler/Ford party - February 2023

A holiday with so many highlights, not least – walking at Appledore and Instow, exploring Croyde, out to see the seals at Mortehoe, surfing at Woolacombe, getting soaked at Watersmeet and Junior Park running at Barnstaple! Each day we have returned from our adventures to the most beautiful, cosy and well equipped cottage. Thank you for our treats and for your attention
to detail and thoughtfulness. We would love to return.

Martin & Thompson party - October 2022

This is a lovely, well-equipped cottage. We had a great time here – plenty of places to visit within a short distance.
We enjoyed playing pool in the games room. Thanks very much for all the wonderful welcome treats! Despite the weather we got out and about, and we are very comfortable here in the evenings.
Thank you!

Langley Palmer party - September 2022

This cottage was beautiful and everything was prepared perfectly. Many thanks for that.
We would love to come back and enjoy this landscape again.
Thank you!

Berlin party - September 2022

Nothing to add regarding the cottage itself, which is as great as many previous guests have pointed out. Our top five activities from my personal point of view:
1. Coastal path to farmland point with stunning views to Exmoor, the sea and Wales.
2. Woolacombe beach is as great as everyone says it is.
3. Seal watching (we were lucky to see also a number of purposes, gannets, etc) on board of the Ilfracombe princess
4. Trip with the Lynton and Barnstaple steam Railway – the trip is not very long, but I found the atmosphere and the people at the station very appealing.
5. Table tennis in the games room.😀

Meizyn party - August 2022

Cottage, beautifully clean, and well furnished. Best equipped that we ever stayed in. Lovely welcome pack. Some good gardens at Rosemoor and Talpley park.
Exmoor zoo, a great little zoo where you can see the animals.
45 crabs caught on Barricane beach (near Woolacombe), and Combe Martin and put back!
Excellent meal at the Black Venus.

Le Jeune party - August 2022

And we’ve had a great time here!! From the games room to the bedrooms, it’s been lovely. Frea and I have been playing pool and table tennis together nearly every day.
Woolacombe was one of the most picturesque and lovely beaches I’ve ever been to. For once, I was excited to go to the beach as I don’t tend to be a big fan of them.
Would 100%. Recommend eating at the Black Venus in. It is so delicious!! I nearly finished an 8 ounce burger, but was disappointed. I didn’t finish it as it was so, so delicious!!
Lynton and Lynmouth have some great little shops, along with a lovely clifftop walk, (Valley of rocks). In the area up at the shops, there’s a really yummy tea room called the picnic box, would definitely go back there!

Khan party - August 2022

Very nice property, well equipped.
Games room really good this week due to the weather.
We’ve had a good week and been to many places.
Love the welcome pack
Children liked the outdoor space when the rain stopped 😀

Hussey & Smith party - July 2022

What a lovely cottage, very well equipped with everything you would want for an enjoyable stay. The ‘welcome’ pack was the most generous and thoughtful one we have ever had.
The first half of the week the weather was disappointing but the games / TV room more than helped pass the time.
The outdoor space when the weather improved was lovely/
Overall this is a terrific cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
Thank you so much.

Birks party - July 2022

Quite simply the best holiday cottage we've stayed in. The attention and thought that has gone into making our stay comfortable was astounding.
Normally when staying somewhere we miss something about home. This is not the case here.
The quality and cleanliness of the cottage is top notch. An absolute credit to the owners.
We hope we can visit again sometime in the future.
Gorgeous peaceful area. Highly recommend ""The Pyne Arms"" for a meal and some amazing scenery around the beaches.
Also if you are looking for cream teas, the Cream Tea Cafe in Barnstaple was fantastic.
Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

From the moment Janet welcomed us after a long drive from London we were made to feel at home.
The cottage is furnished and fitted to a very high standard, and we wanted for nothng. The garden and games room were perfect for our three energetic boys, and they were easily parted from their gadgets to play pool, table tennis, badminton and frisbee or just lie on the lawn and read. We will not hesitate in recommending Ford Hill Cottage to our friends.

A beautiful, high quality, cottage with everything you could need. We really enjoyed the garden and games room. We had tremendous fun playing pool and table tennis in the huge games room - took us back to our youth! Had an amazing meal at the Pyne Arms and a good Sunday lunch at Kentisbury Grange. What with weather being beautiful during our stay and a home-from-home base we couldn't have wished for a better break. Thank you.

Extremely well-equipped with all the details though through from the welcome basket (and personal hello!) at the start, to a superbly equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, gorgeous bedrooms, full range of lighting so you can read a book or do a puzzle through to dimming the lights and curling up in the evenings. The cottage is well locate for trips to the coast. or to Exmoor, plus several great local pubs (The Pyne Arms - great food, need to book!) or the Fox and Goose Inn (excellent food). Well done - you have created a really wonderful holiday cottage and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Another excellent stay and enjoyed the cottage and area very much. Our granddaughter loves it here, despite the weather - actually we found a few micro-climates. You are very generous hosts and supply above and beyond the other cottages we have stayed in - impressive! We discovered Hele Bay this visit - peaceful. The Pannier Market at South Molton is excellent and check out the Cheese Shop there too. We hope to return soon, thank you.

Atherton party - October 2019

See our earlier reviews of July 2017 and May 2019 - nothing has changed, still excellent! We particularly enjoyed The Pyne Arms and Black Venus Inn.

Ireland party - September 2019

What a fabulous cottage! This has to be one of the cleanest, well equipped cottages that we have ever stayed in. The games room was brilliant for those slightly damp days. We loved visiting Woody Bay, especially as the tide was coming in - very dramatic! Woolacombe beach is very nice, ideal for younger people to body board.

Stubbs party - August 2019

Our first experience of staying in a cottage was beyond our expectations. The cottage is superb. Janet gave us a warm welcome and explained everything in detail. Every need was catered for. The contents of the welcome hamper and fruit bowl were delicious. We will have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to our friends and family. It’s a good central location. Highly recommend the Pyne Arms. Watermouth Castle is a good day out for families. Lynton and Lynmouth are well worth a visit. Thank you for your care and thoughtfulness.

Lowe family - August 2019

As others have said before us a superbly appointed cottage! What can I say... The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway near Woody Bay is worth a visit, including wonderful lunches and teas. The Fox and Goose in Parracombe is superb - huge portions and great variety. Saunton Sands and Woolacombe Bay beaches worth a visit. S&P on quayside in Ilfracombe does great fish lunches. Hope to be back at the cottage before long.

Shaw party - August 2019

We had such a lovely week at Ford Hill Cottage, we really could not have asked for any better. Everything in the cottage made our holiday perfect, from the welcome, all the extras, welcome basket, bedding, towels, cleanliness, location, the list is endless. The kids loved the games room and actually gave us some peace and quiet. We had great weather so went out each day visiting: Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe beach, Lynton and Lynmouth, Croyde beach and Heddon Valley. We enjoyed cream teas, fish and chips and meals at Sawmills. Thank you so much Janet and family, you really have the perfect place, we would definitely love to visit again.

Keet party - July 2019

We have had a fantastic stay at Ford Hill Cottage. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped, the best we have ever stayed in. Janet and Adam have thought of everything that visitors might want and have provided this. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the thoughtful extra touches such as the bowl of fruit and basket of luxury food items were much appreciated together with the toiletries. Our boys loved the games room, particularly the table tennis and it was lovely to hear them voluntarily practising the piano whilst on holiday! We have been very lucky with the weather and have been able to explore many lovely places. We visited Instow and Appledore (enjoying a scenic walk along the coast to Northam Burrows). We had two lovely days on the beach at Woolacombe. We all really enjoyed Lynton and Lynmouth and the funicular railway was a hit. We also visited the Valley of the Rocks and had a walk around the grounds of Arlington Court on the way back. We found Barnstaple very useful for shopping on a rainy day and a good place for a big food shop as there is a large Sainsbury and Tesco. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Parker family - July 2019

Our 5th stay in the Exmoor area and had a great start with a personal and warm welcome by Janet. The cottage was such a positive surprise and we felt very welcome and soon ‘at home’. We know the area so our focus was this time more visits to the beach (especially Woolacombe) and we also enjoyed a visit to the Big Sheep (kid’s wish). The food in the surrounding pubs is delicious, we actually preferred the Black Venus. A must is trying out all the local ales and ciders, there were some very positive surprises. Thanks to Janet for the nice handpicked welcome items - we loved the chocolate truffles. Our eldest loved the games room and the Little Pony Monopoly. The little one just ran up and down the dining room for half the day😊. Very much enjoyed staying here.

Niedernhuber family - June 2019

Review from Kio aged 7 - I love the games room!! I like the pool table and the football table. I really enjoyed playing football in the garden too.

Flint Family - June 2019

See our July 2017 review. Our third stay! Nothing's changed. Excellent!

Ireland party - May 2019

What an amazing cottage in an amazing location. We had a wonderful stay, made all the better by the little touches like flowers, bubbly and welcome hamper. We were lucky to have amazing weather for Autumn and visited some great beaches - Woolacombe was our favourite. We hope to stay at Ford Hill again soon!

the Wadsworth family - November 2018

We had a really great week at Ford Hill Cottage. The Cottage is very comfortable with everything we needed. The games room was a real bonus, especially for our teenage children. The weather has been amazing so we were able to visit all the local areas including a couple of days on the beach.
For an evening meal we would thoroughly recommend the Black Venus Inn - it's about 15 minutes away and they have a huge selection of food and drink. We got there around 6.30pm and by 7.30pm the place has packed and that was a Wednesday night!
All in all, a great week, a huge thank you to Janet for making us feel so welcome, and for the lovely welcome pack. We hope to visit again soon.

Pink family - October 2018

We can only reiterate all of the comments made by other guests. We had a fantastic stay at Ford Hill Cottage and really enjoyed ourselves!

Makinson party - October 2018

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Ford Hill Cottage despite the not so good weather. Ford Hill Cottage is an amazing find. A beautiful welcome basket, bubbly in the fridge and lovely little touches in the cottage. The decor, garden and games room (with a home cinema area!) are amazing. Out of all of the cottages and houses that I have rented this is by far the best. Thank you so much for all your care and thoughtfulness.

Morgan and Magrath families - September 2018

Lovely, well equipped cottage with high quality fitments and attention to detail. Most important - the beds were very comfortable! As the cottage was so well-equipped with so many extras provided it was very easy for us to settle in. We were very luck with the weather which meant we didn't use the games room as mush as we thought.
The cottage is in a very good location for visiting places in the area, our favourites were:
- Croyde - lovely beach National Trust car park and cafe with very good food (crab sandwiches and scones etc.)
- Mortehoe - trailer ride to the cliffs on Wednesday which was bookable
- Dunster Castle - take a while to get there but well worth a visit
- Arlington Court - just down the road, lots to see and lovely walks
Our favourite pub was the Black Venus Inn (great Sunday lunch) and found a great butchers at Besshill Farm shop at Arlington.

The Warrington Family - August 2018

Some of the places we visited:
* Pyne Arms - nearby with great food, lemon posset was a hit!
* Black Venus Inn - excellent food in beautiful little Challacombe
* Lynton & Lynmouth - beautiful little twin villages linked by water powered funicular. Valley of the Rocks coastal walk - gorgeous (bought artwork ar excellent local galley
* Dunster Castle and annual country fair (25/7/18) - axe throwing, ferret racing, falconry demonstration - we loved this once a year local experience. Dunster Castle was also very special

Wow, this is by far the most beautiful holiday cottage that we have ever stayed in. Everything is thought of to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The cottage s stunning, in and out, and lovely and clean. My 4 children loved the Gardena nd the games room. We had a lovely welcome by Janet and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Everything is excellent quality and extremely comfortable, ina very good location. We cycled the Tarka Trail and called at Fremington Quay for coffee and then an excellent lunch at John's cafe on the seafront in Instow - highly recommended. A walk along Woolacombe Beach is wonderful - all the way to Putsborough, Excellent meals at the Pyne Arms (booking advisable). Thank you Janet for the mid-holiday clean as we were here for two weeks. Also many thanks for all the treats - It's been fabulous.

Parsons and Pane party - August 2017

Thank you so much for providing the most delightful holiday cottage. We have had a really lovely time, enjoying the local area, and thanks to the very unsettled and wet weather, enjoying the cottage to its upmost! It's been the perfect family retreat - plenty of space to do our own things, great kitchen and eating area and gorgeous outdoor space to dive into when the sun has come out. Fab squishy bedding and towels too - yummy!
Thoroughly recommend the Black Venus pub too!

Matthews family - August 2017

Had a wonderful week here at Ford Hill Cottage. With 5 adults and 2 children under the age of 3, this was a great/perfect place to stay. With the warm welcome and helpfulness of Janet we have had the best week. From exploring the different beaches in various locations to visiting the pubs/eateries in the welcome booklet this has been a brilliant place to stay with the perfect location. Thank you for making this one of the best holidays.

Hodges family - July 2017

A cottage that provides that little bit more: a lovely welcome pack on arrival which s more than that and sets you up; comfort that you usually only expect at 5 star hotels (I am told!); and a location in Devon near
Exmoor which is truly stunning. We came last year, we've made it again
this year; here's hoping we can come again in years to come - it is certainly worth it!

Keith and Helen - July 2017

We were delighted when we arrived to find a beautifully appointed cottage. The decor, beds, towels, etc. were great. We were surprised and thrilled when we came across the 'welcome pack', exceptionally thoughtful and extremely welcome. Gerry said to say a special thank you for the ice - ideal for his Scotch and dry!

Naylor, Maguire & Nicholson party - June 2017

Many thanks for a lovely stay at Ford Hill Cottage. Lovely cottage, fantastic weather, good food at the Black Venus and Blue Ball. Nice walks
on coast and in country side. Many thanksJanet for the welcome pack and
providing us with such a lovely cottage.

Cheryl and Steve - June 2017

Ford Hill Cottage is most definitely one of the best cottages we have stayed in (and there have been many). It's a real home-from-home. The extra touches are so thoughtful and welcome. Having a welcome hamper on arrival meant we could relax and not rush off shopping for provisions immediately. The comfy beds, cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and toiletries were much appreciated. We think the cottage should be at the top of the 'well-equipped list', if it exists!

We have done fabulous walking with the aid of the OS map, been to Lundy Island to see the puffins and other migratory birds (an ambition) and to RHS Rosemoor, which was superb and has a good restaurant serving local food. As gardeners we found it inspirational and relaxing.

We have had many good meals at local pubs, including the Black Venus at Challacombe, the King's Arms at Georgeham, the Blue Ball at Countisbury and the Boardwalk bar and restautrant at Woolacombe - all recommended.

Thank you for such comfortable accommodation.

Hazel & Colin - May 2017

We have had the most lovely Easter break at Ford Hill Cottage. It has been the perfect place to stay with our family including our seven month old grandson - Harry. All our needs were met and thank you for the 'welcome treats'. We've loved the garden and the games room.

The Norths - April 2017

We had a great stay at Ford Hill Cottage! The perfect location to explore surrounding towns and villages. Lots of nice touches including gifts when we arrived. We really enjoyed playing in the games room and relaxing by the fire after a long day of walking. Thank you.

The Vanderweele family - April 2017

We have stayed in a few holiday cottages in our time and this was the best. So well and thoughtfully equipped - we particularly enjoyed the coffee machine! Not once did we say 'I wish we'd bought.....'. Thank you Janet and Adam for the lovely welcome - we so appreciated the hamper of goodies. Everything was so comfortable and as a result we enjoyed a much needed break and feel restored and re-energised. Things we did - lovely walks at Dulverton, Lynmouth/Watersmeet, Selworthy, Mill Valley (all from the OS book) also Westward Ho! Delicious cream tea at the Pavilion Tea Room above the visitor centre in Lynmouth. Good meal at the Pynchon Arms, East Down. Excellent fish and chips at Squires, Braunton (busy on a Friday night).

Elliott family - February 2017

Thank you for a fantastic week! The cottage is beautiful. So cosy and welcoming and kitted out with everything you could need. On top of this the 'welcome hamper' was superb, so generous. This is a great base for walking and general sightseeing. Can thoroughly recommend walks to Morte Point (from Mortehoe) and the Heddon Valley. Be sure to take in as much of the coastal path as you can. Thank you once again.

Fiona & Awp - January 2017

We have had a wonderful 4 days at Ford Hill Cottage for my retirement party. Explored the local National Trust house, Woolacombe beach and surrounding areas. Supper warm welcome to us on arrival. Hamper and wine a real treat. A big thank you to you Janet and Adam!

Mr & Mrs Pate and family - November 2016

Lovely homely cottage with a great garden. Very lovely family kitchen/living area. Despite bad weather we had a lovely time. Loved Croyde - cream from the cream shop was lovely. The Big Sheep for a day out and Woolacombe also a hit. Not so keen on Ilfracombe but fish and chips in Combe Martin were fab. Loved our stay. P.S. the BEST welcome hamper!!

The Fosters, Herts - September 2016

We've had a great week! Ford Hill Cottage has been a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The homely feel of the cottage was ideal for our family holiday, well equipped for all our needs - you've taken almost everything into consideration. The games room was a hit! Thank you for the added touches, especially the generous welcome basket and fruit bowl - they were very much appreciated. Thanks.

The Brinn family - August 2016

We have had a great week here exploring the area. The welcome from Janet was lovely and the basket of goodies and ice lollies for the children. The cottage is fab, we enjoyed playing games in the garden and using the new games room (a hit with the children). We visited lots of new places, one being Arlington Court which is only 5 minutes away and was great for walking, picnics and relaxing. The cottage is a great base to explore Ilfracombe, Barnstaple and Woolacombe. We ate at the Sawmills pub between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe and we would also highly recommend the Red Barn in Woolacombe - great atmosphere and lovely food. We would love to come back.

Much thought and effort has created a lovely holiday home - we have relaxed and enjoyed. Thank you.

Absolutely the right choice! Ford Hill Cottage was perfect for us as a family to enjoy time together. We had absolutely everything we needed and really appreciated those extra touches. We had a wonderful stay at Ford Hill Cottage. It is such a lovely place to be. Thank you, Janet, for your warm welcome. We felt at home from the first moment. The boys liked the table football and pool table very much - we preferred sitting in the garden! Thank you for all! We will come back!

The Rathmann family, Eichstatt, Germany - May 2016

Many years of staying in cottages in the South West and this is amongst the very best. All the extra touches show a thoughtfulness and care for guests. Thank you. The sympathetic renovation provides space and comfort. Will be telling family and friends about this gem. Found the Cream Tea Cafe behind the Pannier Market in Barnstaple and can highly recommend also!

Marilyn Richards, Toronto - April 2016

Extremely well-appointed holiday cottage - a real home from home with touches of true thoughtfulness for the comfort of the holiday makers. A special mention for tea lovers for the wonderful tea cosy!

What a find! Our first time staying in a cottage and we’ll struggle to find a better one. Very tastefully decorated and well appointed and Janet & Adam made us feel very welcome. The hamper was a lovely touch. We had some great days out in the area and Ford Hill Cottage was a great place to come back to. We will spread the word…. Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay In Ford Hill Cottage. The decor, ambience and rooms were a surprise to us. The lovely hamper basket waiting for us on arrival was very nice. The children enjoyed having their own space whilst the adults enjoyed the secluded area for a well deserved rest. Thank you Janet, we hope to be able to do this again soon.

The Adeoye Family, London - April 2016

What can we say?! Except that this is the best, well equipped cottage that we've ever been to! From the kitchen to the bedrooms to the BBQ. We've come armed with a Nespresso machine, a wok, baking trays, charcoal for the BBQ and we didn't have to use any of them as all were provided in the cottage. A beautiful cottage, quiet location and thoughtfully done up. We will definitely visit again. And the owner, Janet, 'rocks' - she's so enthusiastic, full of energy and very friendly and welcoming.

Karpaya-Timm and Hayes party, Berkshire - March 2016

We had a lovely week in this spacious, comfortable cottage, a very homely place to stay. Plenty to do in the area whatever the weather. It was lovely to be welcomed by Janet on arrival to a warm cottage that she had prepared for us. Lovely goodies in a basket was a great surprise. We will recommend to family and friends. 5 star stay! Thank you.

The Smith/Sayles party, Wirral - February 2016

Ford Hill Cottage is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. The pictures online do not do this wonderful place justice. We have really enjoyed our weekend break here and would love to come back again one day. The welcome basket, toiletries and added extras were a real treat and our stay could not have been made more welcoming or relaxing. Our children adored playing outside in the garden and the children's cutlery and plates etc were great - so lovely to see a place which is so welcoming of children. Thank you very much!

Beesley family. Plymouth, Devon - October 2015

We have stayed in numerous cottages over the years and I think that Ford Hill has been the best. So well equipped and so beautifully decorated, and everything of the highest specification from the bedding to the kitchen equipment. Thank you so much for the very generous welcome pack and the fruit. Both families have enjoyed their stay and despite the weather being changeable we have been out and explored every day - Woolacombe beach, The Big Sheep etc. We were also lucky to get seats for a CBeebies show at Ilfracombe Theatre on the wettest day. A great week - thank you.

Thackrah and Gel family. Oxon. - October 2015

What an amazing time we had staying at Ford Hill Cottage. On arrival there was a big smiley Janet to greet us and explain the layout and how everything worked, followed by a delicious hamper full of local goodies for us to feast on after our travels. The cottage is beautifully laid out and so alight and spacious but still has all the home comforts to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As a family it was perfect for us and we greatly enjoyed it. Thank you so much for looking after us. We will be back!!

The Halls family, Wiltshire - September 2015

This cottage was exactly as stated on the website and more! It has been done up to a very high standard and had all that we needed - I especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen that meant I could make a Sunday roast and bake lots of scones. There was plenty of room for us 6 adults, and lots to keep us occupied. It was lovely to spend evenings outside having BBQ's and playing some of the games. The location was ideal for our trips to the numerous beaches and Exmoor - having a folder of local information was very useful. The owner Janet was lovely and exceptionally helpful, we really appreciated the welcome hamper and added extras. Would very muck like to come again and will recommend to friends and family.

Catherine Barwick and party, Surrey - September 2015

We've had a wonderful one week stay at Ford Hill Cottage. We loved everything about the cottage from Janet's warm welcome, luxury hamper to the cleanliness of the cottage. It really is a home away from home. The outdoor space is wonderful and I particularly loved all the home comforts that Janet kindly provided. We will definitely be back - thank you.

We found Ford Hill a beautiful cottage in a lovely location. It was all very high quality and everything you could ask for and more. We had a great week, visiting Woolacombe (which the kids loved), also the Big Sheep and Lynton which was stunning. Thank you Janet for your lovely welcome and special touches, flowers and food hamper containing lots of lovely treats. We would definitely love to return.

The Fullager and Tamlyn family, Rainham - August 2015

We all thoroughly loved our two week stay at Ford Hill Cottage. It's beautiful location is perfect for getting away from it all. Attention to detail was spot on and we really enjoyed the luxury of fine bed linen, fluffy towels and, of course, the coffee machine! The garden is perfect for children and our two year old grandson would have happily played in it for the whole holiday. We would wholeheartedly recommend the cottage to family and friends and hope to come back soon.

The Cornish Family, Stratford on Avon - July 2015

We were very impressed with the cottage and the thoughtful touches therein - like a first class hotel but free to do as we wished about mealtimes!! We enjoyed three really good days near you - one at Watersmeet to Lynton, a boat trip to Lundy, and a varied day in Ilfracombe on the Thursday. If and when we come down to North Devon again, we will certainly be in touch, and we shall have no hesitation in recommending Ford Hill Cottage to our friends.

Fry family, Wiltshire - July 2015

Ford Hill Cottage definately has the 'wow' factor. Probably one of the best appointed and nicely furnished cottages we have stayed in. Janet and her husband were very welcoming and were on hand if required at any time. Ditto the previous visitor's comments re the coffee machine. We are definately going to recommend the cottage to our friends and will definately be back!! Thanks.

The Gower Party - Newport, South Wales - June 2015

Ford Hill Cottage is a stunning place to stay and perfect in every way. It is immaculate, stylish, comfy and very spacious with a wonderful garden (perfect for our 3 energetic boys!). The welcome we received was warm and friendly and was the best we have ever had. The welcome pack was a basket of luxury goodies as well as a chilled bottle of bubbly in the fridge! There were so many little extras that made it first class like fresh flowers, fluffy towels and beautiful toiletries as well as everything you could possibly need. We had an amazing time in a perfect location and would love to return soon. Thank you so much.
